April 24, 2017
Good evening, parents! It is delightful to be back and hopefully we are all geared up to finish strong over the next brief 7 weeks of the school year!
Today we gathered as a staff to explore a variety of topics including strategies to remain vigilant with the realities of Internet safety and cyberbullying, teaching students resilience and grit and strategies to foster a growth mindset!
Some Wildcat considerations as we move from April into May:
*UNO with us! This coming Wednesday, the Class of 2017 invites you to a St. AA UNO day at the UNO restaurant on West Chester Pike (next to CVS)! A portion of the proceeds will come back to St. AA! Enjoy!
*Thursday, April 27th is our last formal OPEN HOUSE of the school year. Invite an interested parent to see us in action beginning at 9:30 AM. If you are available to be a Parent Ambassador that day, please contact Mrs. Hanson: firstname.lastname@example.org
*Our students will enjoy listening to a few guests speakers next Wednesday for our annual Career Day! Our guests include Father Robert Hagan OSA, Chaplain to the Villanova Basketball Team!
*We invite you to join us for our 9 AM Mass & May Procession on Friday, May 5th! The 1st grade are our leaders!
*Sunday, May 7th, please join us for our annual St. Aloysius Academy Fund 11 AM Mass & Picnic! Our way of saying thank you for your generosity and support!
*And later that same Sunday, May 7th, be delighted as our Music Dept. students present the annual BAND CONCERT at 6PM in KDH.
*RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE - Wednesday, May 10th from 1 to 6 PM in our Gonzaga Hall (small gym).
Coming soon to a gym near you - Get ready to travel Back To the Future, Wildcat Style as our Clockhouse to Class of 2017 entertain you at the annual SPRING SHOW - Thursday, May 15th at 7PM!
Sunday, May 21st - 4PM Enjoy our Piano Recital in KDH
FIELD DAY 2017 - It's on Wednesday, May 24th! Dismissal at 12 PM (No lunch will be served).
Spring Sports are in gear! Check our website Athletics calendar for games! Tennis is on with a new tennis coach and 13 team members, too! Look for the Wildcat Snack Attack Stand to be open for home games.
The only thing of importance when we depart will be the traces of love we have left behind. - Albert Schweitzer
Thank you for the many traces of love you offer that makes our school community a better place!
With gratitude and love,
