Wildcat Weekly July 22, 2018

Good evening, parents! We hope you and yours are enjoying the summer break from regular routine! We hope our Wildcats are having fun AND also keeping themselves academically on game with time for Reading and Math! Wildcats don’t summer slide!!!!

As we head into this week, we are about six weeks out until the beginning of the new school year.

Here are a few helpful considerations:

  • Mrs. Ferrante is looking forward to receiving the Emergency Form for each student and Family Directory form from every family ASAP. This is very important to the beginning of the school year. Any issues, please reach out to her in the Main Office.
  • School Store St. AA Uniform Sale – Get your order in early, so it can be ready for easy pick-up in August!

For regular uniform items, go to Flynn & O’Hara:

  • Wildcat Wonders School Store Open Tuesday, 8/28, Wed., 8/29Tues., 9/4 from 5 to 7 PM; also, Thurs., 8/30 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. In addition to uniform items, you can purchase great St. AA Spiritwear and other Wildcat memorabilia.
  • For students participating in sports in the fall, please make sure all forms, including a current physical are completed prior to the first day of practice. Students with missing information cannot participate. Any questions, please contact Mr. Chris Cooney, our Athletic Director:

We are so grateful to our Coaches for their dedication to our students!

    • Look for a separate e-mail in August for the Aramark updated lunch program information and the SEPTEMBER Lunch Menu!
    • School Calendar attached for your convenience.
    • Visit our newly designed website for information and important forms:
  • Do you know a family ready to make an enrollment decision  for their child? Be a Parent Ambassador for St. AA! Parent to parent is the best marketing! Encourage registration now!

Happy Christmas in July!

As I make my transition to my new role, please know once more of my gratitude and continued devotion to all things St. AA! What I have received over these nine years far outweighs any good I may have done.

If I can ever be of help to you, do not hesitate to reach out.

Sister Margaret and I will be meeting together, with Mr. Jeffries, to create a strategic and thoughtful  transition on behalf of our students. Get ready for Sister! In addition to being an exemplary Catholic school educator, she bleeds green…go Eagles!

With gratitude and love,

Sister [and Mr. J says hi, also!]
