Wildcat Weekly, October 7, 2018

Dear Parents,

Sunday, October 7, was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary and October is the month of the Most Holy Rosary.  Each morning I have been encouraging the boys to say at least one decade of the rosary for our many school and family intentions. The rosary is a beautiful tradition which offers us the opportunity to ponder specific events in the lives of Jesus and Mary. These mysteries can also hold insights for our own lives.  On Thursday, October 11, our school community will participate in the rosary walk. All of our intentions will be remembered as we pray the Luminous Mysteries.

This weekend is our Homecoming festivities. We will begin at 10:00 on Friday, October 12 with our Grandparents celebration. Please see the Grandparents Day flyer. I would ask you to share this information with the boys’ grandparents and to remind them that the school store will be open and will be selling golf balls for the helicopter drop on Saturday.  The celebration for grandparents will begin in the large gym so they can go directly to that area. The activity will conclude at 11:30, so, any parent who is a driver may return to school at that time.

A special thank you to all of our families who supported the IHM sisters at our Oktoberfest. It was wonderful to see all of you. I am also grateful to our boys who assisted with the kids games. Great job!

Have a great week!

You and your family are remembered in my prayers.

God bless,

 Sister Margaret
