March 25 News and Updates

Dear Parents,

Feast of the Annunciation

Many thoughts and prayers are coming your way as we celebrate this special Marian Feast. Let us continue to storm heaven and  ask Mary to intercede with her son, Jesus, for our many intentions. Today I encourage all of us to pray the Angelus and rosary as we celebrate the Annunciation. Our boys can certainly lead their families in prayer.

God bless,
Sister Margaret

I hope you and your family are keeping well in the midst of our social distancing. We, the faculty and staff of Saint Aloysius, are grateful to you for your support and helpful comments and insights. The process of Distance Learning is a new concept for all of us and be assured we are constantly discussing among ourselves the avenues that are best for our boys and our children at the clock house. The teachers are available from 9:00-2:00 each week day to answer questions and conference with their students. They will also be “live” during parts of the day with their classes. The students will be informed as we make adjustments to the schedule. One moment at a time.

Enclosed is  a site which has audible books for children from PK through high school.

On Thursday, March 26th, we are asking the students to participate in a sports dress down day. They may wear their gym uniform or any sports apparel that is available. Tomorrow was to be the beginning of Major League baseball so we will celebrate the occasion at SAA.  Please send us pictures so we can post on social media.
Below are a few fun sites that you may want to use on a rainy day or any day.

✅ Read, play games, and hang out with Dr. Seuss

Lastly, I wanted to pass on this link  given to me by Mrs. Conradi, our librarian. The link is from Bound to Stay Bound. Mrs. Conradi uses it frequently for the library.  They have compiled a web page of educational resources for learning at home.  It is an excellent resource with lots of great educational ideas as well as fun activities.  This is a great resource for  parents and teachers alike.

I am aware that some families are not receiving my daily video message. If you would like to view the video it is available on eBoard. I have added a tab to teach of the K-4 and 5-8th sections called K-4 Info and5-8 Info
