Principal’s Update 9/10

Dear Parents and Faculty,

Monday is the 22nd Anniversary of 9/11.  May we keep in prayer all those who died, for their families and friends, the first responders, and all who were and have been greatly impacted by this tragedy.  Also, may we continue to pray for the end of violence and for peace in our hearts, in our country, and in the world. Prayer is a powerful tool!

Be assured of a remembrance in my daily prayer

God bless,

Sister Margaret

  • On Friday, September 8, Celebration of the Birthday of Mary, we came together as a school community to celebrate our first school mass of the 2023-2024 school year.  I want to thank the Class of 2024 for their active participation in the mass. The young men did a beautiful job leading the liturgy. Also, I want to thank Ms. Beatty, the choir and Mr. Maresca for leading us in song. The voices of our boys are truly angelic. A special thank you to Ms. Goode, Ms. Taylor, and Sister Mary Anne for their preparation of the liturgy. We are blessed to have the opportunity to participate in mass with one another and offer in prayer our many school and family intentions.
  • Thursday, September 14 at 7:00PM will be our Back to School Night for parents of boys in Grades K-5. This is an opportunity to meet the teachers, learn about the curriculum and events of the coming year as well greet all the parents in your son’s homeroom.
  • Enclosed you will find the menu for the week of September 11. Many of the boys continue to try different menu items and they seem to enjoy the variety. I hope you are receiving positive feedback from your son. Please contact Chef Christopher Molinari if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Enclosed you will find information concerning clearances for anyone who wants to volunteer at the Clockhouse or Academy. The document is also on our website www.staloysiusacademy.org under the section Forms. Please contact me  sistermargaretf@staloysiusacademy.org if you have any questions.
