Principal’s Update 11/5

Dear Parents and Faculty,

I hope everyone remembered to turn back the clock and enjoyed an extra hour of sleep.

Below are a few reminders to help you plan for the days ahead.

  • Congratulations to our newly installed altar servers,  Henry Cervini, Logan Dunn, Jason Jeffries, Peter Massaua, Nicholas Milone, Sean Mucksavage, Matthew Nassar, and Zane Prasad who were commissioned during our mass on Friday.
  • Special thank you to our eighth-grade parents, the Class of 2024 raffle assistants, our beautiful models, our sponsors and our many benefactors for all they did to make our Fashion Show such a successful event. I am especially grateful to Chairpersons, Amy Nolan, Kristen Snyder, our Parent Association Board, and our Master of Ceremonies,  Mrs. Angel Quinn, for their tireless effort with this wonderful endeavor.  It was a great afternoon enjoyed by all. Thank you for your presence and support!
  • During the month of November, we will remember in a special way all our deceased family and friends. Each morning at prayer the boys will be encouraged to place in the prayer basket a list of those who have died. The paper is enclosed.
  • Our Halloween Candy Care collection will be held until November 17. All candy will be given to the homeless and those in need.
  • November 7 is a school holiday. Voting will take place in the little gym so; the campus will be closed to students and teachers.
  • Thursday, November 9 is a spirit dress down day sponsored by the Class of 2024.
  • Please keep in your prayers the Class of 2029 who will receive First Holy Communion on Saturday, November 11.
  • Sign-up for the Book Fair. Our Book Fair begins Monday, November 13. There is a special night event on Thursday, November 16. All are invited to join us in the Innovation Center from 5:15-7:00. The boys may wear their PJs as they read a book and enjoy some cookies and refreshments.   I hope you can come and join us. I have enclosed a letter offering details concerning our Book Fair. Thank you to Mrs. Conradi and Ms. Patselas for all their work with the Book Fair. All monies raised will be used to purchase books for the library.

  • Picture retakes will be held on Tuesday, November 28.
  • Save the date: Live Nativity will take place on Friday, December 1. We will begin at 6:00PM with our Christmas Concert in KDH. At 7:00PM we will have our Live Nativity in the breezeway outside the little gym. In the little gym there will be refreshment and treats along with a craft for the children.
