Principal’s Update 1/21

Dear Parents and Faculty,

Mother Nature surprised us with a week of winter weather. In the midst of shoveling and digging out I hope you were able to enjoy the beauty of the snowstorm through the eyes of your child. I look forward to hearing the many stories the students will share about their adventures of sledding, skiing, snowboarding and of course helping shovel the snow.  Have no fear it will be 60 degrees on Friday!

Below you will find information and reminders to plan for the days ahead.

Let us continue to support one another in prayer.

God bless,

Sister Margaret

  • On Friday, January 26, the students may participate in a Sports Dress Down Day sponsored by the Class of 2024.  Our original date was January 19, but Mother Nature had other plans for that day.
  • Saint Aloysius Academy registration and tuition information for the 2024-2025 school year was emailed to you. I have enclosed the forms with this email.
  • Save the date- On Sunday, January 28 at 11:00 AM  Saint Aloysius Academy will celebrate mass with Villa Maria Lower School at Villa Maria House of Studies, Malvern PA. This mass celebrates the beginning of Catholic Schools Week as our Academies are united in the IHM Charism of Love, Creative Hope, and Fidelity. All are invited.

Below is the google form for families to RSVP so Villa will have an approximate number of those who will attend the mass and reception.

  • Catholic Schools Week will be celebrated on January 28- February 2. I will send out information concerning activities that will take place at school.
  • I am still interviewing candidates for our nursing position. Please contact me if you know of anyone who can assist us. Even one day a week (Monday-Thursday) would be helpful.
