Principal’s Update 2/25

Dear Parents and Faculty,

May this Lenten season be a time to “wait for the Lord; be strong, and take heart and wait for the Lord.” Psalm 27:14   May we continue to support one another in prayer.

  • Our Gala Committee is busy planning a fun-filled experience for all of us. The theme of the Gala is Casino Royale.  There will be many table games to play during the evening and I know the competitive spirit will be present on April 20 at the Llanerch County Club. The games will be for entertainment purposes only.   Sponsorship opportunities are available for our annual GALA!  Please consider sponsoring this important fundraiser through a financial contribution toward the GALA or consider offering an in-kind donation toward our live and/or silent auctions. Sponsorship information is also included in this email.   Our 2024 Gala is going to be a great event and we count on your support! Thank you for your support!
  • Thursday, February 29 is Leap Day. It will be a PJ (pajama )dress down for all the students. Special Leap Day activities will be held in school.
  • Terra Nova Testing (Standardized Testing) for Grades 1-8 will begin on Friday, March 1. It is important the boys get a good night’s rest, eat breakfast and are on time for school. The last day of the testing will be on Friday, March 8.
  • Congratulations to Joe (Class of 2026) for his participation in the Archdiocesan Religion Bee and Nolan (Class of 2026) for his participation in the Delaware County Spelling Bee.  We are very proud of you. Wildcat Proud!
  • Congratulations to Paolo (Class of 2024) and Matthew (Class of 2026) for their participation in the Archdiocesan Honor Band. You were selected to represent Saint Aloysius Academy and we are proud of you for receiving this honor. Wildcat proud!
  • Please keep in your prayers the boys from the Class of 2025 who are preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation. Also, the Class of 2030 who will receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation on Saturday, March 9.
  • A tentative Calendar for the 2024-2025 school year is enclosed.
