Principal’s Update 4/14

Dear Parents and Faculty,

I hope you are enjoying our springlike weather. Last week many of the boys enjoyed the opportunity for outdoor classes and this week should be the same. This is one of the wonderful benefit of having a campus with 42 beautiful acres.

Be assured of my continued prayers for you and your family.

God bless,

Sister Margaret

  • Congratulations to our SAA Math Team! On Saturday, our two Math Teams competed at the LaSalle College High School Mathletes tournament. There were nine schools competing and some schools had two teams with five members each.  Our A team with Paolo, Conor, Michael (Class of 2024), and Sean and Jamie (Class of 2025) won second place in the competition.  Conor won SECOND place among all individual competitors and Paolo won FIRST place among all individual competitors!  Keep in mind there were close to seventy students competing in this tournament and two of our SAA students were #1 and #2. We are so proud of these boys and all they have accomplished in math this year.  The students on our B Team were Joe, Drew, Felix, Logan, and Evan. They did a great job and I look forward to watching them next year at the tournament. A very special thank you to Ms. Goode for all her work with the math teams. Great job to all our math students! Wildcat Proud!
  • The installation of our new basketball nets is in process. There will be two new nets on the north side of the gym and two on the south side of the gym. The padding around the gym will be the next step after the basketball nets. There has been great progress.  Also, the netting for our batting cage is in the final stage.
  • Each student in Montessori-Grade 8 will receive a pretzel ( Philadelphia Pretzel Factory) on Thursday, April 18.  This treat is courtesy of our Principal for the Day, Liam.
  • Friday, April 19 will be a Phillies dress Down Day.  On Friday, April 19, I will announce the students who are the lucky winners of the candy towers.  Any student who sells a raffle ticket is eligible to win the 4th basket. Wait for that phone call. There is still time to purchase raffle tickets.
  • Tomorrow, Monday, April 15 is the last day to buy a ticket for the Gala.  There are still tickets left for the Gala. It would be wonderful to see parents from our Montessori to Grade 8 present for this exciting and fun-filled endeavor. Invite your friends and family members to join you at the Llanerch Country Club on Saturday, April 20 from 6:00-11:00. Your support is greatly appreciated.
  • We are in the process of accepting new students for the 2024-2025 school year. Please contact Mr. Paolucci if you know of a family who may be looking at various school options for their son. Our families and faculty are a powerful marketing resource. Spread the word…This is a great time to be a Wildcat!
  • Please contact Mr. Paolucci at if you would like a St. Aloysius lawn sign for your home.  Your support is appreciated.
  • Continue to keep in your prayers our boys who are preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
