Rev. Joseph McLaughlinAbout the Scholarship

Rev. Joseph Mclaughlin, O.Praem., is an alumnus of St. Aloysius Academy, Class of 1957. He came to St. Aloysius Academy, West Chester, PA in January 1950 as a boarding student and remained until his eighth-grade graduation in June 1957. After high school, young Joe answered God’s call to the priesthood, entering the Norbertine Community. After ordination in 1970, he returned to St. AA as priest to celebrate one of his first Masses for the students. June 2020, marked the golden anniversary of his ordination to the priesthood.

For more than twenty-five of his fifty years as a priest, Father McLaughlin has served the St. Aloysius Academy community as chaplain, mentor, role-model and friend.
