Dear Parents and Friends,
On Saturday, May 1, Saint Aloysius Academy was scheduled to celebrate our 125th Anniversary at the Merion Tribute House within the venue of our GALA. After much prayer and consultation with health professionals and the IHM Community, we decided that it would not be prudent to continue our planning for this in-person celebration. These are unprecedented times, and the safety and wellbeing of our community is a priority.
I am grateful to our GALA Committee for all their work planning an in-person gathering, but the focus turned to a virtual event. The live and silent auctions still happened. Carlino’s offered three delightful mean choices that so many of our families took advantage of.
I am grateful to the current sponsors who have donated to our live auction. As promised, we promoted your businesses as previously planned with additional marketing signs, such as lawn signs along Bryn Mawr Avenue. See below for a list of our very generous sponsors.
As you may know, the GALA is the major fundraiser for our Academy. We depend on your support to continue the wonderful tradition that is Saint Aloysius Academy.
